UMBRELLA PROJECT

The project is tailored to the development of a support decision tool that provides information with respect to the building energy consumption and methods of implementation and grants for energy efficiency.
This will be achieved through the development of an innovative web-based platform that will see the first application of four demonstration projects located in the UK, Italy, Spain and Poland.
Project Partners: Integrated Environmental Solutions Limited (UK) Exeter University (UK), University College Cork (Ireland); LGI Consulting (France); Solintel (Spain) NAPE (Poland), STAM (Italy), D'Appolonia (Italy).

PROJECT HYDROPLUS
The reasons R&D initiative behind this on the front of technologies Mini-Hydro reside in the identification by E++ SRL of a sector of the market, the hydropower, one in which most of the productions are focused on the manufacture of equipment for generation of great powers (starting from 5-10 MW), leaving free an interesting slice of potential customers that ranks often far below the above mentioned powers.
Innovation sought through this project involves two main technical areas:

• The first is related to lowering the production costs of the turbine/generator.
• The second area revolves around simplifing of the interface of the turbine/generator, and the development of control systems, remote management and remote control system. 

CRT "Social Energy and Next Futurama"
The project focuses on the integration of Hydropower energy from renewable sources in the cultural landscape of the city dealing on how to change the perception of man/urban environment/energy in the evolution of the urban fabric, through the use of innovative sustainable technologies for energy production. E++ contributes to the project by sharing knowledge on the implementation of micro-power stations connected to the network or standalone  in particular on mini-hydro, solar and small gasification size.
Partner: Politecnico di Torino (DIPRADI - Department of Architectural Design), EDISON (Research Centre of Turin). In collaboration with the Province of Turin.
